Your Tibetan year
This is a Phugpa conversion, not a universal Tibetan date. It computes the lunisolar year containing your Gregorian date and prints the Losar boundary it actually used.
Supported dates: 1900–2100. Tsurphu and other calendar lineages may place a boundary differently.
Why the convention label matters
The Phugpa and Tsurphu calculations share a family history and can still produce different civil dates. The result above is reproducible because it names the rules; it is not promoted as the single answer for every Tibetan Buddhist community. Read the calendar contract →
