Who operates this site

GlitchBong is operated by Bodhisatta Bhattacharjee in India. Questions, privacy requests and deletion requests can be sent through the contact page.

Information collected when you visit

• Hosting and security data. Vercel and the site’s infrastructure may process standard request data such as IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, referral information, timestamps and error information to deliver, secure and troubleshoot the site.
• Aggregate visits. An internal counter records the type and slug of a published game, tool or blog post and increments its total. A session-storage marker prevents repeat counting in the same browser session. The counter does not create a visitor profile.
• Performance analytics. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights collect aggregate usage and performance measurements so broken or slow pages can be found and improved. Vercel processes this information under its own privacy terms.

Accounts, comments and game progress

If you choose to sign in with Google, the site may store:

• the name, email address and profile image supplied by Google;
• account role, login count, last-login time and last-login IP address;
• comments you publish and the game page on which they appear;
• saved progress for supported games and taste-preference data you choose to save; and
• whether you requested deletion of your account.

This information is used to authenticate you, operate requested account features, moderate abuse, protect the service and honour deletion requests. Comments are public and appear with your chosen account name and profile image. Do not post personal or confidential information in a comment.

Information stored in your browser

The site uses cookies or browser storage where needed for sign-in sessions, one-visit counting, interface preferences, game state, quiz state and selected themes. Some games and tools work locally in your browser without sending their working data to GlitchBong. Clearing site data in your browser removes local-only preferences and progress.

Table Grabber has a separate, more specific extension and web-tool privacy policy. Where that policy is more specific about Table Grabber, it controls for that tool.

Advertising and Google AdSense

When advertising is enabled, GlitchBong uses Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses and use other identifiers to deliver, measure, limit and protect advertising. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland will be shown a Google-certified consent message where required. You can accept, reject or manage the available advertising choices in that message. Consent can be revisited through the privacy controls displayed by the site once advertising is active.

External services and links

The site relies on service providers including Vercel for hosting and performance measurement, Neon for database hosting, Google for sign-in and advertising, Cloudinary and Cloudflare for media delivery, and external media providers where a preview, player or outbound link is shown. Those providers may receive request information needed to deliver their service and apply their own privacy policies.

Following a link to another website leaves GlitchBong. This policy does not control what that external website collects or does.

How information is used and shared

Information is used only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide, maintain, secure and improve the website and its features;
• authenticate accounts and synchronize requested progress;
• publish and moderate comments;
• measure aggregate traffic, reliability and performance;
• serve and measure advertising where enabled; and
• comply with law, enforce the terms or respond to valid legal requests.

Personal information is not sold. It may be processed by the service providers described above, disclosed when legally required, or transferred as part of a genuine change in ownership of the site, subject to appropriate notice and applicable law.

Retention and deletion

Account information, comments and cloud-saved progress are retained while the account is active or as needed to provide and secure the service. Signed-in users can request account deletion from Settings. An approved deletion removes the account and associated comments and game progress, except information that must be retained temporarily for security, legal or backup purposes. Provider logs are retained according to each provider’s applicable retention schedule.

Your choices and rights

You may browse most of the site without an account, block or clear browser storage, use browser privacy controls, decline optional advertising consent where offered, sign out, or request access, correction or deletion through the contact page. Rights vary by location; requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law and may require identity verification.

Children

GlitchBong is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child supplied personal information, use the contact page so it can be investigated and removed where appropriate.

Security and changes

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect stored information, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Material changes to this policy will be published here with a revised last-updated date.
