The fixed modern assignment
The plant gloss is disputed
University College Cork's modern tree-alphabet sheet glosses muin as bramble. Graves's calendar uses Vine; the mismatch is kept visible.
Two dates, two histories
The ogham character belongs to an early Irish writing tradition. Its use as one of thirteen birth-month signs belongs to the Graves-derived calendar published and adopted in the twentieth century.
Printing those layers together is useful only when the page refuses to make them the same age.
What is not claimed
No ancient source says people born in this range share a vine personality. Modern authors have supplied many such lists, often with incompatible dates and traits; they remain outside this structural corpus.
