Compare collapsible source and output previews on the left while settings scroll on the right, with one section expanded at a time. Original colours is the default palette. Open a local image or short video, or use a temporary local capture tab for camera and screen sharing.
Choose exactly what to keep
Select a smaller region or restore the entire image with one button. Pick a background colour directly from the source through a circular magnifier. Tolerance handles nearby shades; soft edges refine the transition. Review the resulting cutout before downloading.
Continue in Pixel studio
Download PNG, animated PNG, GIF, sprite sheets, editable projects and other supported formats locally. Open in Pixel studio transfers the exact preview and opens it automatically on the web canvas. Replacing unsaved artwork still asks for confirmation. The web editor provides drawing, layers, animation and shared tilemaps.
Local by design
No account, AI, image upload or extension analytics. Camera and screen capture start through the browser chooser. Page capture uses your toolbar action. Read the extension privacy policy.
Clear limits
Converted output supports up to 256 pixels per axis and 32 sampled frames. Captures cover visible page content; protected browser pages cannot be captured. Videos are bounded to eight seconds, 32 MiB and 32 sampled frames. Formats support documented subsets, and exports disclose their differences.
