Cels may be empty, independent or linked within a layer. Layer names, order and visibility apply to all frames. PNG exports the selected frame.

Cel range selection and transfer

Enable range mode, pick an anchor, then Shift-click/Shift-arrow or enable Extend and tap the opposite corner. Drag selected cells to a destination, or choose destination and tap. Source reads are snapshots; replacements detach outside linked peers. Painting keeps its active target.

Choose named ranges and playback modes in Tags & playback. Playback stops when this tab is hidden. Stop playback to edit. Up to 4 MiB of cel pixels total; large canvases allow fewer frames and layers. Save a project to keep every frame. APNG and asset bundles are available from File.
